Over 30,000 digital assets watched for brand misuse. More than 3,000 alerts triaged in a single quarter. A senior person's email, password and session tokens found exposed — and escalated.
Clients are anonymised.
Results
- Over 30,000 digital assets monitored for brand misuse and exposure
- Over 3,000 alerts triaged in a single quarter, so the client only dealt with the few that mattered
- A senior person's email address, password and session tokens found exposed and escalated

The outcome
Over a recent three-month period, the engagement raised over 3,000 alerts for the client. The team triaged all of them. Most were closed as false positives or handled by automated rules, and only a small number were escalated as incidents.
Escalations over the quarter included lookalike and impersonating domains, a high-confidence phishing domain, fake social media accounts impersonating the brand, company assets listed on a threat actor's target list, and employee credentials found on hacker forums and in leaked credential lists in every month of the quarter.
Through the takedown work, the engagement also found a senior person's email address, password and session tokens exposed. A password lets an attacker try to log in. Session tokens can be worse: a valid token can let someone take over a session that is already signed in, without needing the password at all.
The exposure was escalated to the client. For exposed employee credentials, the recommended response is a password reset, a check that multi-factor authentication is in place, and a review of sign-in logs.
The challenge
A well-known brand is a target. Its name can be misused, and the people who lead the business hold access that attackers want. If a senior person's login details get out, an attacker may not need to break in at all — they can simply sign in.
The client's digital footprint is large: over 30,000 asset records, including many thousands of domains, well over a thousand websites and login pages, and a range of cloud assets, social accounts and mobile apps. Each one is a place where the brand can be copied or a weakness can appear.
The client needed brand protection — visibility of, and action against, misuse of its brand — and VIP credential monitoring: early warning if the credentials of senior people were exposed.
How Amon Dîn helped
Amon Dîn advised the client on brand and VIP exposure risk, guided their cyber journey, and helped them get 24/7 monitoring in place. Through this engagement the client uses a takedown service that combines brand protection (lookalike and phishing domains, impersonating social accounts) with VIP credential monitoring across the dark web, hacker forums and leaked credential lists.
The engagement also covers the client's external attack surface, with vulnerability intelligence, configuration checks and supply-chain threat intelligence. Analysts review every alert. Genuine issues are escalated through a ticketing process, and the client receives a monthly report covering alerts, escalations and the asset inventory.
What the client said
“Working with Amon Dîn has been straightforward and genuinely collaborative from day one. Their team listens carefully to what we need, responds quickly when requests come in, and manages our account without friction. Crucially, the intelligence and reporting they provide gives our security team clear, practical information we can act on immediately rather than sifting through generic noise.”
