How this site handles visitor data.

Short and plain. Last updated 15 October 2026.

Who we are

This website is run by Amon Dîn. You can reach us at gouresh@amon-din.com.

Identifying visiting organisations

We use Leadfeeder to identify the organisations (companies) that visit this site. It runs for every visitor, in Leadfeeder’s Consent Management Mode. Leadfeeder receives your IP address, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and basic browser and device information. It matches the IP address to a company where the address belongs to a business network.

We do this at organisation level, to understand which kinds of organisations are interested in our services and to decide whom to follow up with in a business context. Our legal basis is our legitimate interests (UK GDPR and EU GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time (see below).

No Leadfeeder cookie is set until you click Accept in the banner. If you accept, Leadfeeder sets a cookie in your browser so that it can recognise repeat visits and, where you submit a form on this site, connect that submission to your visits. Our legal basis for that cookie is your consent (UK PECR and EU ePrivacy rules). If you decline, no cookie is set, but the organisation-level identification above still happens.

Your choice

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage on this site, not in a cookie, so that we do not ask you again on every page. You can change it at any time with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent, we remove the Leadfeeder cookie where we can and reload the page, and we no longer tell Leadfeeder that you have accepted. Clearing your browser data also resets your choice.

Opting out and deletion

Declining the cookie does not stop the organisation-level identification. To object to that, ask us to exclude your organisation or IP address, or to delete data we hold about you, by emailing gouresh@amon-din.com. You can also block the tracker with your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker, and delete cookies through your browser settings.

Everything else

This site does not use advertising cookies or any other analytics service. The Signal Score assessments run in your browser and your answers are not sent to us unless you choose to email the result. The email security checker makes public DNS lookups through Cloudflare or Google DNS from your browser. If you email or phone us, we use your details only to reply and to manage the conversation.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you can object to our use of it. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
